Introduction 

Recent, significant challenges are facing engineering education. They mandate innovations in the areas of the philosophy and the strategy of the educational institutions. Therefore, Faculty of Engineering, Assiut University, a pioneer academic/research institute, is organizing this conference  to address the challenges and expectations of the engineering education. Moreover, the recent patterns of educations as E-learning and virtual reality approaches are comprehensively tackled. 

The main objective of 1^st ICEE 2019 is to bring together researchers, engineers, scientists, educational industry experts from worldwide to discuss the current limitations, future expectations and share the progress/advancements in the areas of engineering/ technological education.
